Gebo

Gebo is the gift, and in the old world a gift was never free. It created obligation, alliance, and a bond both parties were expected to honor. The rune carries all of that: generosity, yes, but the kind that builds something binding. Nothing given under Gebo leaves either person quite where it found them.

When it comes up, something is being offered or shared. It is one of the warmest runes in the set and often marks a partnership of genuine equals: a relationship, an alliance, a contract that actually serves everyone inside it. Gebo tends to appear where two separate things are becoming one larger thing without either being swallowed.

Its quiet law is that what is given returns, and that receiving well is its own form of giving. When it lands, give freely and accept without guilt. The bonds worth having are the ones where the exchange flows both ways, so put your energy into those and be honest about the ones where it only ever flows one way.

Gebo is the same either way up, so it never lands reversed: a draw shows it upright, always. Where it turns difficult is in imbalance: a gift with conditions quietly attached, or an exchange where one side keeps giving and the other only ever receives.
